​​Pentaloe Studio is an independent label that makes one-off bags from upcycled fabrics sourced in Ōtautahi. 

All my bags are made from waste material donated or collected from local manufacturers. Waste is a natural part of the production process. Almost nothing is made without waste, but when I collect this waste, I give these high-quality materials a second chance at life. For now, this is a clean-up operation, but I would love to see a future where there is no waste for me to make products.

As each piece of fabric I use is different, I carefully select fabrics that will work together, allowing their side and shape to influence the details of each design. This gives Pentaloe Studio bags their unique look and feel. You can also be certain that you will never see two bags exactly the same.
